October 2, 2009 Seminars and AGM of the Canadian Taijiquan Federation

The Annual General Meeting for the Canadian Taijiquan (CTF) Federation will be held on October 2, 2009 in Guelph, Ontario. Students are encouraged to register now.
The demos are free. The workshops are $30 each or $50 for both for CTF members.
If you are not currently a CTF member I highly recommend joining. Membership is $35 and includes discounts on seminars and events, a subscription to Tongren magazine, and more. You can join online or join at the AGM.

This year the Annual General Meeting of the CTF will be held in Guelph, Ontario with a full day of activities.

There will be two CTF-sponsored workshops which members and non-members are invited to attend. Vendors and information booths will be set up for the day.  Access to these and a showcase of martial arts demonstrations will be free of charge and open to the public from 4:00 to 5:30pm. The AGM is free and open to all members of the CTF.

Workshop 1:   ARTICULATING THE TAO

Applying principles of articulation to the Taijiquan form. Explore the subtle and profound principles of articulation as they apply to the Taijiquan form. This seminar will be taught by three teachers with  90 years of combined tai chi experience in 5 styles of Taijiquan.

Where have we been?

My attempts to make regular bi-weekly entries into this site have met a bit of a challenge lately, but a challenge that I embrace with great love and enthusiasm. At the age of forty-three, I became a father for the first time in August.

So, you will understand that I have been quite pre-occupied, with my wife and daughter becoming my main priority.

I am starting to get back on track, and will be making more progress over the next month or so. In the meantime, thank you all for your patience and your support at this wonderful time.
